How to Apply for Your New Arkansas Driver’s License

Voter Registration in Arkansas

To vote in Arkansas elections you must have a valid and approved voter registration. You will need to register to vote through the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.

Photo identification at the polling booth is a must in Arkansas.

To be eligible to vote in Arkansas, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be an Arkansas resident.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • NOT been convicted of a disqualifying felony.
  • NOT be declared “mentally incompetent” by a court.
